Lindsay’s clients describe her as tenacious, organized, approachable and level-headed.
Lindsay maintains a practice focused on health law, professional regulation and workplace investigations. She provides practical advice and solutions to her clients. In her health practice, she assists a wide range of health professionals with respect to regulatory matters including but not limited to MSP billing audits before the Medical Services Commission (MSC), hospital privileging disputes, College complaints, review of College dispositions before the Health Professions Review Board, registration and licensure issues, prescribing practices, privacy and confidentiality matters, ethical breaches, informed consent, sexual misconduct, disruptive behavior, quality of care concerns, and other advice matters.
Lindsay is also a workplace investigator, which is a natural extension of her administrative law practice. She investigates specific issues and concerns, and she also reviews organizations to proactively identify potential concerns and the root causes of same within a workplace.
Lindsay was born and raised in Powell River, B.C., on the Sunshine Coast and now lives in Vancouver.

Lindsay represents health care professionals including physicians, TCM practitioners, chiropractors, dentists, naturopathic doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech and hearing professionals, optometrists, and psychologists.
Lindsay’s focus and experience includes representing professionals in the following regulatory matters.
MSP Billing audits with the Medical Services Commission of British Columbia (MSC);

Representing practitioners with respect to hospital privileging matters including appearing before HAMAC and the HAB;
Representing and attending before the Health Professions Review Board;

Privacy/confidentiality matters (including Freedom of Information queries);

Certification under the Mental Health Act;
Informed Consent;
Sexual misconduct;
Quality of care concerns;
General advice matters;

Lindsay is known for her impartial, fact-based approach, and timely conclusions in completing reports. The general areas of investigation include complaints of bullying and harassment (including sexual harassment), discrimination, inappropriate or unprofessional behaviour, statutory violations, employee misconduct/violation of company policies, and other forms of misconduct.
In addition to providing reports on workplace investigations, she also reviews organizations in order to identify potential legal and practical concerns proactively before a formal complaint has been launched.
