Harper Grey lawyer, Michael Drouillard, recently authored an article addressing the legal risks for buyers and sellers of tenant occupied property.
The article discusses recent implemented changes in BC intended to protect tenants of residential housing. The legislation in question has inadvertently exposed another group of vulnerable consumers, buyers and sellers of residential housing, to risks never seen before in the context of the sale of residential property which is occupied by a residential tenant.
