Harper Grey lawyers, Michael Thomas and Drummond Lambert, co-authored the article “Jurisdictional Issues raised by British Columbia’s new Motor Vehicle Regime and the Balance Between Cost, Efficiency and Access to Justice” in the July 2019 edition of The Advocate. The article analyzes the constitutionality of BC’s new motor vehicle legislation and suggests these reforms demonstrate the provincial government’s willingness to unilaterally address concerns over cost and efficiency in the justice system with little regard for procedural fairness.
