Crisis Centre of BC Presents a Mental Health Conversation on Behalf of the Harper Grey Health and Wellness Committee
In advance of Bell Let’s Talk Day, the Harper Grey Health and Wellness Committee invited the Crisis Centre of BC to present about mental health to the firm. Jeffrey Preiss, Director of Development & Communications with the Crisis Centre shared some facts about the Centre and opened a discussion around mental health and the support available in the Lower Mainland.
The Crisis Centre of BC was founded in 1969. They are a volunteer powered organization that provide support to anyone in British Columbia that’s experiencing crisis and is in need of support. They understand that crisis is unique to the individual and offer non-judgemental emotional support to every caller. They also provided outreach services for callers and community learning for both youth and adults.
