Happy Mother’s Day!

In honour of Mother’s Day, we invited firm members to share photos of empowering mother figures who have supported their lives along with a little blurb to thank them for the love and support.

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all the amazing moms out there!

Thank you to my mom and mother-in-law for being two strong women in my life. I appreciate everything you do!

– Brooke

My mum is one of a kind! Hardworking, funny and compassionate – we have fun together regardless of what we are doing.  She’s taught me to go after what I want and to be grateful for what I have.

– Alexa

My mom was one of the wisest, kindest people that I have ever known. She was a born teacher and her passion for teaching benefited generations of students. She was the biggest sports fan you could ever meet.  Although she is not with me anymore, her wisdom, advice and all that I learned from her continues to guide me on a daily basis. All I have to do is quiet myself and I can hear her say “keep smiling”.

– Rose

I am grateful for my mum’s adventurous personality and her endless support!

– Claire

My best friend, greatest teacher and most important role model.

– Janet

Without my mom, I wouldn’t be who I am today. She taught me to be kind and humble. Her priceless and unconditional love gave me the courage to find joy while navigating the challenges in life. I am blessed to call her my mother.

– Annette

My Mom is one of the strongest, hardest working, and most courageous people I know. She has always had calm and unwavering faith that I can do anything I set my mind to, to match her calm and unwavering determination to do anything she sets her mind to. Above all, she has taught me how to have fun in everything I do. No one else has made me laugh harder or loved me so completely.

– Mollie

My mom has taught me to show kindness towards all persons, unwavering love and support for family and friends together with strength to face any challenges that life throws at you.

– Vinna

My parents immigrated to Canada not knowing a word of English with only a suitcase in hand and worked so hard to build a future for their children. My Mom taught me the importance of hard work and perseverance.  I am so grateful to her for the work ethic she instilled in me, for her close friendship in my adult life, and for her continued support, love and guidance.

– Slavica

You birthed us and then lugged us over the Kabir Pass. Alone. The sacrifices you made in your quiet way thereafter.

– Ramish Sakhi

Mum,

You are always in my heart. I miss you every single day. Wherever you are they are lucky to have you. Until we meet again.

– Tammy Reid

Although it can be hard living a province away from my mom, she is always just a phone call away. She has an amazing way of bringing me back down to earth and we can lose hours on the phone chatting about life. I am so grateful for her and what she brings out in me. Love you mom!
