Recognizing Gender Equality Week in Canada

The fourth week in September marks Gender Equality Week in Canada. It was officially recognized by the passing of Bill C-309, the Gender Equality Week Act, in June of 2018. It’s a week that offers us all an opportunity to raise awareness of the important contributions and achievements women and non-binary or gender diverse individuals and communities have made to the growth, development, character and identity of Canada. Join us as we celebrate the steps we’ve already taken as a country in advancing gender equality and reconfirming our commitment to continuing to work towards making true equality a reality.
