VBA Alpine Championship

Saturday, March 12, marked the 2022 Vancouver Bar Association Alpine Championship which took place in Whistler. Harper Grey members got to show off their skiing and snowboarding skills while leaving their competition in the dust (or is that powder?) finishing first overall! Congratulations to our Harper Greyhounds – Prentice, Angelina, Claire, Neal, and Hannah and our Harper Greysox – Leyla, Dan, Georgie, and Cameron.

We also took home some big wins in the individual race categories and door prizes. Our Angelina won first place in the Women’s Ski Overall, Prentice placed second in the Men’s Ski Overall, and Dan won first place in the Men’s Snowboard Overall. Congratulations to you all!

As you can see from the photos, regardless of rankings, this event was a major blast! In addition to our race team, the Harper Grey contingent included Martha, Linda, Eilisha, Aaron, Jackson, Ryan, JoAnne, Nina, and Taylor. It was a great time to spend time on the slopes and with other skiers and snowboarders from other firms.
