West Coast Leaf Annual Equality Breakfast honours International Women’s Day

Harper Grey is a proud sponsor of the West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast which was held this year on March 9. Harper Grey lawyers and staff attended the event to celebrate International Women’s Day, raise awareness and acknowledge West Coast LEAF for the organization’s efforts and work in litigation, law reform and public legal education.

Robyn Doolittle, an award-winning journalist and author, was this year’s keynote speaker. Robyn’s “Unfounded” investigation into how Canadian police services handle sexual assault cases has prompted a national overhaul of policy, training and practices around sexual violence, with police services vowing to review tens of thousands of previously closed cases.
