Kim Jakeman Chairs CLEBC “Civil Litigation Basics for Legal Support Staff” Course

Harper Grey partner, Kim Jakeman, will serve as chair of the “Civil Litigation Basics for Legal Support Staff” course being held on June 26, 2019 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver. This course will be a multi-faceted introduction to the issues, processes, and procedures that all legal support staff must have a command of in order to properly handle files in the regulatory and litigation realm looking at the essentials from the perspective of what has to be done and why. The program will emphasize practical knowledge and will examine core topics and issues that are relevant to all litigation and regulatory files and will be of interest to litigation support staff, paralegals, and junior lawyers seeking a grounding in the basic documents and procedures comprising a civil action.
