Nick Sulentic to present “Law Firm Finance for Non-Finance Professionals” to BCLMA members

Harper Grey Controller, Nick Sulentic, will host a one-hour session aimed at providing information about how law firms function financially on June 18. Presented by the BC Legal Management Association (BCLMA), the event will be presented virtually and aims to provide attendees with an introduction to law firm finance, including the unique financial structure of law firms, the importance of financial management in sustaining profitability, and growth and the role of non-finance managers in contributing to financial objectives.
As Harper Grey’s Controller, Nick has a specific knack for improving process efficiencies and providing dynamic reporting. Nick brings a wealth of experience from various industries to his role. A vital part of the accounting department, he supports the firm’s Director of Finance in the development of financial reporting and analysis and is responsible for all areas of the firm’s accounting operations. Nick manages and guides a cohesive team of ten, focused on delivering excellent service in the execution of day-to-day transactions involving firm payables, receivables, trust accounting, time and billing, account reconciliation, cash management, and policy enforcement.
