Co-authored by Kim Yee and Jaeda Lee, the April edition of the Retail Case Law Update discusses a recent case, Woo v. Crème De La Crumb Bakeshop & Catering Ltd., 2019 BCSC 1752, where the court considered whether a retailer bakeshop could be found liable under the Occupiers Liability Act for catastrophic injuries the 66 year old plaintiff suffered while doing repair work at a bakeshop.
