With experience providing counsel to startups and mature companies, Jeff knows how to best set them up for success. Having worked extensively in the areas of securities and M&A, Jeff’s experience informs the perspectives and guidance he now provides to his clients.
Jeff’s entrepreneurial spirit has led him to work as in-house counsel for a number of public and private companies in a variety of industries including technology, software and mining. His expertise in transactional negotiations, drafting a wide range of commercial contracts and managing compliance with corporate and stock exchange policies, was honed consulting on numerous equity and debt financings for proceeds of up to $40 million.
As an experienced executive and board and committee member at numerous companies that he co-founded, including Versapay Corporation, Argentum Silver Corp., and Arco Resources Corp., Jeff draws on his own first-hand experiences to advise entrepreneurs on the legal aspects of establishing, financing and operating a company.
While Jeff’s expertise is underpinned by his knowledge of the rules and regulations of business creation and operation, his elevated client relationships are based on enabling and problem solving, his collaborative mindset and his ability to draw on the unique insights, perspectives, and skills.
In 2021, Jeff joined the Securities and M&A team of Harper Grey’s Business Law Group as Associate Counsel bringing more than 20 years of experience, most of it as general counsel to an array of industry leading companies, providing strategic advice and legal advice to business owners.
