Kora is an Associate with Harper Grey and represents insurers in a broad range of disputes relating to professional negligence, construction deficiencies, fires and floods, subrogated claims, personal injury, and insurance coverage.
Kora focuses on defending claims relating to professional negligence, construction deficiencies, fires and floods, and products liability. She also represents plaintiffs in subrogated property damage claims. Kora also defends personal injury claims relating to Occupier’s Liability and motor vehicle accidents, including infant claims. Additionally, Kora regularly provides insurance coverage advice for Commercial General Liability, Errors and Omissions, Wrap Up Construction Liability, and homeowner’s policies.
Kora is called to both the bars of Alberta and British Columbia. She has appeared at all levels of court in both provinces. She is also experienced at resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation.
Kora writes regularly about insurance law topics. She is a contributor to the Insurance Netletter published by LexisNexis Canada. She is also a contributor to Contemporary Canadian Insurance Law casebook. This comprehensive casebook offers both lawyers and insurance professionals an overview of the current state of Canadian law as it applies to insurance-related matters.
Kora enjoys spending time in the mountains, whether by skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking.
