Since her call to the bar, Roshni has practiced in all areas of litigation with a focus on commercial disputes, professional negligence, administrative law, and employment and human rights. In that capacity, she appeared before all levels of Court in British Columbia and has represented clients at mediations, settlement conferences, applications, administrative tribunal hearings and trials.
Prior to joining Harper Grey in 2021, Roshni worked as in-house counsel for a large regulator of health professionals overseeing discipline, Health Professions Review Board and unauthorized practice matters. Her experience provides her with the unique and informed perspective she brings to her current health law and professional regulation practice.
Motivated by well-rounded contributions to both her profession and community, Roshni is an active volunteer with Access Pro Bono and is involved with the Canadian Bar Association and Vancouver Bar Association in various roles. An advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, Roshni was a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee at her previous workplace and has also completed the accredited San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training program, which aims to foster a climate where the unique history of Indigenous peoples is recognized and respected.
Roshni was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is an avid traveler and foodie.
