Christa takes the lead in evaluating firm financial practices and operating policies to identify operational efficiency opportunities and developing the leading financial management processes integral to achieving the firm’s strategic objectives. Christa has a reputation for identifying and anticipating reporting and billing trends and proactively implementing new processes and technologies well ahead of the curve.
Christa is responsible for all areas of the firm’s accounting operations. She manages and guides a cohesive team of four focused on delivering excellent service in the execution of day-to-day transactions involving firm payables, receivables, trust accounting, time and billing, account reconciliation, cash management and policy enforcement.
Christa received her Financial Management diploma from BCIT in 1996 and obtained her CGA in 2001 from the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia. She brings more than 15 years of extensive accounting and supervisory experience to her role garnered through working in public practice, as Corporate Controller responsible for the Canadian and US financial and administrative divisions in the automotive collision industry as well as Controller for a regional BC law firm.
