Celebrating Asian Heritage Month 2023

May 8, 2023

May is Asian Heritage Month in Canada, a time to honour and celebrate the contributions of Asian Canadians to our history, communities, and country. While Asian heritage month has been celebrated across the country since the ‘90’s, it was officially recognized by the Federal Government in May of 2002. This year’s official theme is “Stories of Determination” which serves as a reminder for Canadians to come together to combat anti-Asian racism and discrimination.

The Harper Grey Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee (DIBC) has worked hard to prepare a month full of education and activities to celebrate our local Asian communities. Stay tuned this month for more posts about how our firm is recognizing this important time.

Thank you to the DIBC for planning a fun and educational month – we can’t wait to see what you have in-store for us!
