Daniel Reid interviewed by CTV Vancouver News on recent BC Supreme Court ruling in defamation matter

Defamation, Privacy & Media lawyer, Daniel Reid, was interviewed by correspondent St. John Alexander of CTV Vancouver News and provided commentary regarding a recent defamation case where a Fraser Valley man who was attacked on Facebook was awarded $67,000 in damages. “The lesson is to think before you write,” Daniel Reid said of the case. “The law says that people’s reputation is entitled to protection, and if you publish something that damages someone’s reputation, you could be sued.”
