Harper Grey Associate Julie Gibson Appointed to Civil Resolution Tribunal

After a rigorous, merit-based competition, Julie Gibson has been appointed by Order in Council as a full-time member of the Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT). Julie was a part-time member of the CRT from 2015 to 2017 and will assume her full-time role at the end of February 2018. Julie’s law career started at Harper Grey more than a decade ago. Over the course of her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in administrative decision-making procedural fairness and increasing access to justice. This appointment represents an exciting opportunity for Julie and we wish her the best of success in her new role.
The CRT is Canada’s first online tribunal. The CRT resolves small claims disputes $5,000 and under, and strata property (condominium) of any amount. The CRT helps people to resolve their disputes quickly and affordably, and encourages a collaborative approach to dispute resolution. Learn more about the CRT here.
