On Friday, March 10, 2017 Harper Grey lawyers and staff attended the 30th Annual West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast event which celebrates International Women’s Day and raises much needed support for its work in litigation, law reform and public legal education. This year’s event featured a silent auction and address by keynote speaker, Dr. Cindy Blackstock, the executive director of First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada and a professor in the School of Social Work at McGill University. Harper Grey is proud to support the West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast for the fifth consecutive year through our bronze level sponsorship.
West Coast LEAF is the first and only organization in BC dedicated to promoting women’s equality through the law. Learn more about West Coast LEAF here.
