For the sixth consecutive year, Harper Grey supported Access Pro Bono’s annual ‘Going Public’ Event as title sponsor.  This year, for the first time ever, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic Pro Bono shifted their entire ‘Going Public’ event to telephone clinics which saw lawyers from across the province participate in a 10-day advice-a-thon. Held from September 14–25 from 9AM-5PM daily, each volunteer lawyer provided free legal advice during one hour, pre-booked phone appointments.  Many of Harper Grey’s lawyers volunteered their time and expertise to the telephone clinics.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought challenges to everyone in BC, including vulnerable British Columbians with legal problems, and the legal charities who serve them. All funds raised through the 2020 ‘Going Public’ event will support Access Pro Bono’s COVID-19 pandemic relief programs.
