The 32nd annual West Coast LEAF Equality Breakfast was held Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and was attended by Harper Grey lawyers and staff in recognition of International Women’s Day. The proceeds from the breakfast support West Coast LEAF’s work in litigation, law reform and public legal education.

This year’s keynote speaker was Dr. Willie J. Parker, a justice advocate for reproductive and sexual rights in the United States, and the author of a recently released book titled “Life’s Work: A Moral Argument for Choice”. The focus of Dr. Parker’s work includes violence against women, sexual assault, and reproductive rights in addition to the advocacy and provision of contraception.
