February 25, 2016
Harper Grey is pleased to support the BCTIA 2016 Technology Impact Awards (TIAs) being held on June 7, 2016 as sponsor of the Most Promising Pre-Commercial Technology Award category. This award will acknowledge a pre-commercial technology that is in the R&D stage of development and has the potential to commercialize within five years.
“Harper Grey is enthusiastically committed to helping the tech industry in BC grow”, says Steven Lukas, co-chair of the firm’s Business Law Group, “and welcomes the opportunity given to us through our sponsorship of the TIAs to show our support of BC’s vibrant and entrepreneurial startup community. We represent individuals and companies that are involved at all levels of the ecosystem: founders, investors and partners whether at the start-up stage, the growth stage, the exit stage and sadly, even a few at the wind-up stage, by providing counsel and advice that is proven to be innovative and economical for our clients.”
Founded in 1994 by the BCTIA, the TIAs celebrate the achievements and successes in the technology industry and the companies, people and innovation that continue to put British Columbia on the map. Now in its 23rd year, the TIAs are the longest running and largest technology award program in British Columbia.
Visit the TIA website here for more information if you are interested in submitting an application in any of the ten award categories or know a company that should be nominated. The submission deadline is February 26, 2016.
