Have You Downloaded the Lawyer’s Toolkit for Advance Care Planning Yet?
November 27, 2019
This resource created by the Advance Care Planning (ACP) in Canada initiative, led by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (“CHPCA”), was released on November 25, 2019. It is designed to help lawyers and their clients go through the process of ACP and can assist lawyers in making a significant difference in their clients’ lives. It is a valuable resource because the laws vary between provinces and territories and it is often challenging to identify the different health care options that could be explored with your clients.
Harper Grey lawyers, Kim Jakeman and Sandra Abley were excited to be invited to collaborate with Torkin Manes on the development of the content for the ACP Legal Toolkit and eagerly provided their practical advice and recommendations.
