Dina Dawson is a paralegal with the firm’s Construction & Engineering Law group and works closely with the group’s lawyers providing paralegal support in all aspects of the organization, analysis and management of files.
Dina provides a supportive role in all aspects of her document-intensive files. She drafts pleadings, chronologies, and assists with the review and analysis of client and party documents. She prepares lists of documents within document management support systems utilized for complex, multi-party claims.
Dina completed her Legal Secretary Certificate in 2003 and worked at a number of firms in that capacity. Dina then completed the two year (full time) Paralegal Diploma Program at Capilano University in 2009. Dina worked as a paralegal at a personal injury firm before joining Harper Grey in 2011 as a legal administrative assistant/paralegal with our Banking & Insolvency Disputes and Commercial Litigation Group. Dina has been a paralegal with the Construction Group since 2017. She brought to her role significant experience gained through working in the areas of personal injury, general and commercial litigation.
Dina is an active member of Harper Grey’s Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee and Green Committee. Dina is a voting member and past Director of the BC Paralegal Association.
Her outside-of-work interests include traveling, ice skating, swimming and enjoying summer visits back home to the Similkameen Valley in the Okanagan.
