Fatuma is a Paralegal with the firm’s Family Law Group and works closely with the group’s lawyers providing paralegal support in all aspects of organization and management of files.
Fatuma’s naturally inquisitive nature is what drew her to the very interesting and challenging area of family law. There are many facets to family law beyond divorce and children, such as property, taxation, evidence, financial agreements as well as litigation. Already able to put her knowledge and skills to use, she continues to embrace learning in this broad practice area.
Fatuma works closely with the lawyers in the Family Law Group providing paralegal support in all aspects of the management and organization of files including communicating with clients and other parties, document production, preparing lists of documents, drafting pleadings and court applications, and trial preparation.
In her spare time Fatuma enjoys hiking, playing badminton and tackling new recipes.
