Monique has extensive experience in all aspects of file management and organization and has extensive knowledge in the design and use of evidence management support systems as she frequently works on document-intensive files.

Biography

Monique joined Harper Grey over twenty years ago as a paralegal before transitioning into her current hybrid role encompassing paralegal work as well as acting as one of the firm’s Litigation Support and eDiscovery Supervisors.

In her paralegal capacity, Monique assists the lawyers in our commercial litigation group, including focusing on securities litigation.

In her role as one of the eDiscovery Supervisors for the firm, she provides advice and support to assist with the firm’s variety of litigation support software, providing on-site technical support to other paralegals and lawyers, as well as assisting clients with the collection of their electronically stored information and the review, analysis and production of same.

Monique is the co-chair and a contributing member of the Practice + Procedures Focus Group that assists the court with the drafting and updating of the Electronic Practice Directive and the Guidelines on Benchmarking of Costs paper for the Canadian Judicial Council.

She holds a Paralegal Certificate from Vancouver Community College and she is the Membership Director for the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS). She is also a member to the BC Paralegal Association, British Columbia Legal Management Association – Litigation Technology & eDiscovery Subsection, and the International Legal Technology Association.
