Monique Sever joined Harper Grey in 2000 as a paralegal in the area of general commercial litigation with an emphasis on securities litigation.
Monique provides assistance to several lawyers in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group in all aspects of file management and organization and has extensive knowledge in the design and use of document management support systems as she frequently works on document-intensive files.
In her role as one of the eDiscovery Specialists for the firm, she provides advice and support to assist with the firm’s variety of litigation support software, providing on-site technical support to other paralegals and lawyers, as well as assisting clients with the collection of their electronically stored information and the review, analysis and production of same. Monique is a Summation iBlaze Certified End-User.
Monique is the Co-chair and a contributing member of the Practice + Procedures Focus Group that assists the court with the drafting and updating of the Electronic Practice Directive and the Guidelines on Benchmarking of Costs paper for the Canadian Judicial Council.
She received her Paralegal Certificate from Vancouver Community College in 2002. She is the Membership Director of the Vancouver Chapter of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS), a member of the BC Paralegal Association, British Columbia Legal Management Association – Litigation Support Subsection, Association of Litigation Support Professionals (Vancouver), and International Legal Technology Association.
