Sheryl has been at Harper Grey for over thirty-five years.

Biography

In her current role, Sheryl works directly with the lawyers in our insurance and health law groups. She assists on bodily injury, property loss and subrogated property insurance claims. She also works on medical malpractice claims. Sheryl provides a supportive role in all aspects of the organization and management of files. She assists with document production, including gathering and analyzing medical evidence, preparing medical chronologies, drafting pleadings and court applications, preparing lists of documents, and communicating with clients and related parties.

Sheryl has provided mentoring to paralegal practicum students and legal administrative assistants.

Prior to obtaining her Paralegal Certificate from Capilano University, Sheryl worked as a legal administrative assistant for fourteen years in the areas of health and insurance law. She has also worked in our Corporate Records department. Upon completion of the paralegal program in 2004, she worked with Harper Grey’s Commercial Defence Litigation Group for two years before returning to the Insurance and Health Law Groups.

She is a member of the BC Paralegal Association.
