Abigail Turner will be presenting as the Counsel for the Defendant at the mini mock trial presented by The Medical Legal Society of B.C.’s on April 24, 2014.

The mock trial will be based upon a fact pattern, “mock” medical records and reports and consist of the direct and cross examination of an expert medical witness at trial. The “cast” of lawyers, expert witness and judge will demonstrate some effective and ineffective forms of direct and cross examination, both in terms of substance (supporting/impugning the medical legal opinion) and form (questions and answers that the judge/jury will remember).
