On April 7, 2017, Harper Grey partner, Cameron Elder, will present on “Design Consultants and Professional Liability – Why You Might Be Sued” at the Vancouver ACEC-BC YPG Breakfast Seminar. The presentation will provide design professionals with an overview of their exposure to professional liability. Some of the topics covered will include pre-contractual considerations such as project and team selection, standard contractual considerations such as limitations of liability, exposure relating to drawings and specifications, including personal liability, and contract administration, including field review and letter of assurance. Actual claims will be referenced as case studies.
