On Friday, May 12 Kim Jakeman and Chris Rusnak presented at the CLEBC Course “How to be a Great Litigation Junior 2017” chaired by Joel Morris. Kim presented “How to be a Great Junior Part I: Before Trial” while Chris spoke on “Effective Legal Writing for Junior Counsel”.
This course was a must attend for junior litigators and was also of interest to intermediate litigators who wanted a refresher to round out their skill set. The panel of jurists and senior counsels reviewed the key elements of what it takes to excel as a junior litigator – from personal temperament, to work ethic, to writing, to trial preparation, to advocacy and trial.
