Karen Douglas to participate in CLE Discovery Practice 2016 panel discussion

On March 9, 2016, Harper Grey Partner, Karen Douglas, will participate in the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) BC Discovery Practice 2016 panel discussion offering strategies to master the discovery process and take charge of the facts at trial. This session will be most relevant to Supreme Court litigators who wish to develop, hone, or renew the skill set essential to effective discovery practice. In this comprehensive one-day course on the core elements of discovery practice, panelists will explore various topics to provide you with strategies and concrete tools to effectively utilize our discovery process to your client’s advantage. The program is designed to complement the CLEBC publication Discovery Practice in British Columbia. It will feature video vignettes demonstrating various aspects of discovery practice that will test your ability to identify and resolve discovery problems, and will challenge you to uncover underlying best practices, all with an eye to civility and professionalism. The course will conclude with a discovery practice panel of seasoned litigators providing you with practical tips of the trade.
